Native American Healing Wisdom

Native American Healing LLC

Eileen Ellis

This class explores the heart and soul of Native American healing wisdom.  Native Americans lived in balance and harmony with Nature and the Mother Earth.  They did not take more than they gave.  All of life was viewed and honored as a manifestation of the Divine. They possessed multi-sensory skills. They understood medicinal herbs and foods.  Their world was a sacred hologram: the parts made up the whole but the whole was in each part.

How to Live a Healthy Lifestyle

Intrinsic Chiropractic Center

Dr. Jodi Kinney

My presentation will be a power point on how to live a healthy lifestyle without drugs or surgery.  It outlines how Americans mostly live in a reactive-sick care model of health, in that typically we wait for things to break down before we think about our health.  Our wellness approach is to be more pro-active in our health and our bodies by taking preventative measures in ways that I outline in the presentation; nutrition, exercise, and properly functioning nerve supply so that we can SELF heal, instead of taking medications.  I think of myself as a wellness expert but my professional training is as a doctor of Chiropractic.  I Iook forward to this opportunity to teach more people about the powerful message of self-healing and self-regulating through a wellness approach.

Selfcare Through Touch: Tapping touch and Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Sachiko Komagata, Ph.D., P.T.

Georgian Court University Associate Professor & Chair Department of Holistic Health & Exercise Science

Let’s finish the Expo day by learning a newer touching therapy from Japan called Tapping Touch. It was developed by Dr. Ichiro Nakagawa who was concerned over his decades of clinical psychology practice in the US about so many people having difficulty helping themselves and needing professionals. It is made simple enough so anyone can learn and apply for wellness. In addition, a simple self lymphatic drainage massage of the neck above will be introduced and practiced for sinus, congestion, seasonal allergy related throat, ear, nasal concerns or facial puffiness.

Thank you!

Hope to see you all there!
