Stress is the emotional and physical strain caused by our response to pressure from the outside world. Common stress reactions include headache, backache, and a fast heartbeat. It is almost impossible to live without some stress and of course, most of wouldn’t want to as it gives life some spice and excitement. But, if stress gets out of control, it may harm health, relationships, and enjoyment of life. This hands-on workshop will examine how the body responds to stress and some holistic approaches to help manage that stress. Participants will learn and practice relaxation exercises such as deep breathing, yoga, meditation, guided imagery, aromatherapy, Tai’ Chi Chi, acupressure, and vibrational healing. All techniques can easily be incorporated into everyday life by anyone, anywhere.
Walk in stressed – Walk out feeling great!
